Wildlife viewing at Lake Mead

The Lake Mead National Recreation Area is home to bats, desert bighorn Sheep, mule deer, coyotes, bobcats, and more. Also a variety of lizards and snakes including gila monsters and the rattlesnakes. Bird species include the American Coot, Yellow Headed Blackbird, Mallard, Great Horned Owl, hummingbirds and many more.
