Directions to Jones Valley Resort

Location for Higher Water (VALID FOR 2023 TRAVEL)

Northbound: Take I-5 north to the Oasis Road Exit. Go east on Oasis for 3.2 miles. Take a right on Bear Mountain Road and stay on Bear Mountain Road for 5.5 miles until you reach the stop sign at Dry Creek Road. Turn left, go 1 mile to the fork in the road, stay on the right (marked Jones Valley Road). Continue about 2 miles to the Jones Valley Public Ramp, then follow the signs to the marina.

Southbound: Take I-5 south to the Mountain Gate Exit. Go east on Old Oregon Trail for 2.2 miles. Take a left on Bear Mountain Road and stay on Bear Mountain Road for 5.5 miles until you reach the stop sign at Dry Creek Road. Turn left, go 1 mile to the fork in the road, stay on the right (marked Jones Valley Road). Continue about 2 miles to the Jones Valley Public Ramp, then follow the signs to the marina.

Location for Low Water (not valid for 2023 travel)

Please be aware that in low water years the resort will be located at the public ramp for Jones Valley. When driving to the resort, you will no longer turn left at Jones Valley Marina Drive. Please continue on the road until it ends at the public launch ramp parking lot, drive through the lot and on the far side you will see signs directing you to take a right and head down a short dirt road to the present marina location. Thank you!

Directions to Silverthorn Resort

Northbound: Take I-5 to the north side of Redding. Then take Highway 299 East for approximately 7 miles. Take a left on Dry Creek Road. Drive 8 miles north and follow the signs to Silverthorn Resort.

Southbound: Take I-5 south to Oasis Road, then turn left over the freeway. Take a right onto Bear Mountain Road and stay on the road until you reach Dry Creek Road. Take a left on Dry Creek Road and follow the signs to Silverthorn Resort.

From Eugene, Portland or Seattle:

  • I-5 South to Bridge Bay road exit.
  • Follow road to main office for check-in.

From Reno, Salt Lake City or Las Vegas:

  • 80 Freeway West to I-5 Freeway North.
  • Follow I-5 North to Bridge Bay Road exit.
  • Follow road to main office for check-in.

From Los Angeles:

  • I-5 North to Bridge Bay Road exit.
  • Follow road to main office for check-in.

From Phoenix:

  • 10 Freeway West to I-5 Freeway North.
  • I-5 North to Bridge Bay Resort exit.
