What do you do while you're out there?
Anything you can think of to have fun on the water: swimming, paddleboarding, kayaking, watersports (water skiing, tubing, waterboarding).
Hiking along the shoreline. There are a few trails, but you can explore virtually anywhere along the lake!
There are a few sightseeing opportunities as well: stop at the Shasta Caverns, slip down natural waterslides, spot a waterfall...the fun is limitless.
Shasta Lake is also the top fishing lake in California! Top catches include land-locked King Salmon, Rainbow and Brown Trout, Small and Largemouth Bass, Spotted Bass, Catfish, Panfish, and Sturgeon.
