If you love the idea of camping out on the water, this is the boat for you. Unlike other houseboats, which are often quite literally "house" boats, the brand new 36' Weekender Patio Boat offers a more open air design. Having a canopy over your head is about as enclosed as this gets. For the most part, those are stars you're sleeping under.
This is not to say that the boat is at all uncomfortable. It comes with three bed-sized cushions to keep your deck-sleeping experience well-padded. You also don't need to pack in a few days worth of trail mix - the boat has a propane BBQ grill, an ice chest, and a refrigerator. A CD player and marine radio allows your weekend out to have a soundtrack and having a restroom on deck, complete with vanity sink, and a back-deck shower is no end of convenient.
